Based in the Archdiocese of Detroit, Magic Carpet Theatre Drama Ministry has been spreading the joy of the Gospel since 2008, touching the hearts of thousands across the country, from Florida to Alaska. MCT Drama Ministry helps people experience Scripture through live theatre—a visual, interactive, and creative proclamation of the Living Word.

Their repertoire includes, “At His Feet,” a powerful drama with music, reflection and prayer, and "Surrender,” an original musical inspired by the   Joyful Mysteries of the Rosary. These performances act as a mini-retreat, drawing people into Scripture through humor, joy, and God’s love.

Magic Carpet Theatre began 35 years ago promoting literacy and has evolved to include ministry after Catherine Zardus, Founder and Artistic Director, had a deep conversion. The Drama Ministry Acting Ensemble includes Duane DiFranco, Allie Faudel, Amy Susan Heard, Lise Lacasse, Emily Walker, Barbie Weisserman, and Catherine Zardus.
