2027 Pre-night Information
The Good News Cruise pre-night package is an annual tradition that will be hosted at the BRIGHT and BEAUTIFUL Omni Hotel in Fort Lauderdale! The package also includes motor coach transfers from our selected hotels to the pier on the day of embarkation, continental breakfast, and a private group dinner. This year we are also delighted to welcome JEFF CAVINS as our pre-night speaker! As with previous years, we will all pray the rosary together to end our 54-day novena. We will also celebrate Mass before dinner at the Omni!
We strongly encourage all of our guests to consider this option early as it has very limited capacity and will sell out. Additionally, as with every cruise departure, there is risk with booking flights that arrive on the day of embarkation as weather delays and mechanical problems on aircraft can result in guests missing the sailing entirely!
The pre-night option gives our guests the peace of mind that comes with being positioned in Florida a day early should such delays occur.
Because the Good News Cruise is a full ship charter and the pre-night event will need to accommodate more guests than prior years, additional hotel rooms have been secured at the Hilton Marina and the Embassy Suites, both of which are in comfortable walking distance of the Omni.

Jeff Cavins is recognized both nationally and internationally as an exciting public speaker and bible teacher. He communicates the Catholic faith at a level that everyone can understand, taking theological truths and expressing them in a practical way.
He is the creator and founder of the popular Great Adventure Bible Study series published by Ascension Press. The foundational study, The Bible Timeline: the Story of Salvation, has enabled students to understand the chronological flow of Scripture. The teaching methodology is best expressed in the best-selling Great Adventure Catholic Bible. Other Great Adventure Bible Studies taught and recorded by Jeff include Matthew, Acts, Revelation, Psalms, James, Galatians and Ephesians. Over one million Catholics have benefited from these studies in the US and other countries, and they have helped them to engage in scripture in a life-changing way.
Jeff is the founding host of EWTN’s weekly program “Life on the Rock” as well as Relevant Radio’s daily show, “Morning Air.” He currently has a weekly podcast, “The Jeff Cavins Show.” He is author of several books including Walking with God: A Journey Through the Bible co-authored with Dr. Tim Gray. Two other popular titles are Praise God and Thank Him: Biblical Keys for a Joyful Life and When You Suffer: Biblical Keys for Hope and Understanding both published through Franciscan Media. His latest book is The Activated Disciple: Taking Your Faith to the Next Level.
Jeff and his wife Emily host annual pilgrimages to the Holy Land and have guided thousands of pilgrims in the steps of Jesus, Mary and the disciples.
Jeff received an MA in Theology from Franciscan University of Steubenville. He is the Director Emeritus and teacher at the Catechetical Institute at the St. Paul Seminary in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Jeff and his wife Emily of forty years are the proud parents of three daughters, Carly, Jacqueline and Antonia and grandparents of three, Dominic, Francesco and Fiona.
