FATHER CORWIN LOW

SPEAKER

Fr. Corwin Low, O.P. spent nearly fifteen years in the high-tech industry as an entrepreneur in the areas of computer network security, network infrastructure design, and software design. He worked with some of the pioneers at Microsoft, Amazon, Costco, and Boeing. Wildly successful by secular measures, he discovered the Faith through the beauty of the Catholic Church in the areas of sacred music, art, and architecture, and especially liturgical worship. Attributing it to Divine Providence when in Rome in 1999, he literally stumbled upon the Dominicans, a religious order founded in the 13th century to teach the Truth of the Gospel. Six years later, having successfully sold his companies, he joined the Dominicans on the West Coast a year later. He was ordained to the priesthood in 2014.

In 2022 Fr. Corwin’s superiors offered him the opportunity to return to business, not as a businessman per se, but to evangelize to business communities, particularly in Big Tech. At one end he worked with existing Catholics to bring the sacraments to some of the biggest tech companies, including Amazon and Microsoft. At the other end he works with tech executives helping to bring them to Christ and living fully as Catholics.

In addition to this tech ministry, Fr. Corwin has been recently named Director of Mission Advancement and Development at the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas in Rome (the Angelicum). This important mission is to bring the Truth of the Faith to seminarians, priests, lay people, and even to future prelates (Pope St. John Paul II and Pope Leo XIV were alumni).
