Greetings Good News Cruisers,

We pray that you are having a wonderful summer! In this, our June Newsletter, we're excited to share a brief introduction to Bishop Kevin Rhoades who will be sailing with us on the Good News Cruise™ in 2025!  We also will be providing you with more information about Royal Caribbean's Oasis of the Seas® and offering a last call for any couples who may be interested in the pre night event with Chris Stefanick.

As we approach the holiday next week, we also have a special promotion for those who refer friends and family to the Good News Cruise! Enhance your experience by sharing it with others. They will receive $100 off -- AND SO WILL YOU! Have your friend or family member use promo code FOURTH at booking through July 8!

Lastly, we are still working on your Royal Caribbean Confirmation Numbers. We will have them to you as soon as possible, but rest assured you will have your number in time for the Black Friday sale when Royal Caribbean offers the best deals on excursions, wi-fi, and more!

This year's Good News Cruise is shaping up to be the most exciting sailing yet and we look forward to sharing more with you. Please follow our Facebook page to stay up to date with all the latest news!

Sailing Documents

Passport Books are the best document to travel with according to Royal Caribbean. If this is the document you will be traveling with, ensure it has six months of validity following the return of the cruise - meaning your passport cannot expire before July 10, 2025.

You can travel with a birth certificate, however there are certain VERY IMPORTANT requirements your document must meet. Please read more about documentation on Royal Caribbean's website.

Bishop Kevin Rhoades has served as Bishop of the Diocese of Fort Wayne – South Bend since 2010 and currently serves as Chair-Elect of the USCCB Committee on Religious Liberty, as a member of the USCCB Committee on Doctrine, and as a member of the USCCB Ad Hoc Committee Against Racism. He also serves as a member of the Foundation Board of Catholic Relief Services, as Chair of the Board of Directors of Our Sunday Visitor, as Episcopal Moderator of the Society of Catholic Scientists, as a member of the Board of Directors of the National Eucharistic Congress, and as a member of the Bishops’ Advisory Board of the National Eucharistic Revival.

He also serves on the Advisory Boards of the following entities: the Theology of the Body Institute, the Institute for Priestly Formation, the National Conference of Diocesan Vocation Directors, the Augustine Institute, and the Catholic Leadership Institute.

Royal Caribbean's Oasis of the Seas

This year the Good News Cruise will be sailing on Royal Caribbean’s Oasis of the Seas! When you aren’t attending events as part of the Good News Cruise itinerary, you and your spouse will have the opportunity to enjoy a number of revolutionary amenities onboard! Multiple waterslides - including the tallest slid e in the Caribbean - are available for a more adventurous time aboard. If you’re looking for a more relaxing experience, there are four pools, nine hot tubs, and multiple bars and lounges to explore. We are highlighting some options below and encourage you to visit Royal Caribbean’s website to learn more!

Looking to get some quality time with your spouse and recharge together aboard the ship? Look no further than the Vitality Spa! Restorative massages and rejuvenating facials, world class fitness classes and state of the art facilities are all available onboard.

If you’re looking for a way to stay active on the Cruise, consider heading out to the Pickleball Courts and taking on the fastest growing sport in the US. Whether you’re a beginner or regular player it’s a fun way to challenge your spouse and get to know other couples on the Cruise!

Elevate your date night at one of the many lounges aboard the ship including the Champagne Bar. The perfect spot for digesting the presentations from the day, or unwinding after an adventurous excursion. From bold bruts to crisp cremants, discover your perfect pairing for good times at sea!

2025 Pre Night Event with Chris Stefanick

Rooms for the pre night event are going quickly! The Good News Cruise pre-night package is an annual tradition that includes one night's accommodation at the beautiful Diplomat Hotel, motor coach transfers from the hotel to the pier on the day of embarkation, and a private group dinner. This year we are also delighted to welcome Chris Stefanick as our pre night speaker!

Chris Stefanick is a speaker, author, and television host. He is a popular YouTuber and owns a channel that is based on his name, Chris Stefanick. In addition, he is the CEO of Real Life Catholic, a non-profit Institute. You can listen to his previous Good News Cruise presentation here and also a talk from the Good News Conference here.

We do strongly encourage all of our guests to consider this option early as it has very limited capacity and will sell out.

Additionally, as with every cruise departure, there is risk with booking flights that arrive on the day of embarkation as weather delays and mechanical problems on aircraft can result in guests missing the sailing entirely!  The pre-night option gives our guests the peace of mind that comes with being positioned in Florida a day early should such delays occur.

If you would like to book, once you click the button below, select 'Your Reservation', and login. The pre-night will be one of the add-ons.

To all of our enrolled guests, we express our sincere gratitude for making the Good News Cruise™ a part of your plans for 2025. And if you have friends or family looking for a relaxing getaway with their spouse - ask them to consider this event for the fun, the relaxation and the blessings it brings to marriages.

From now until July 8th if you refer a friend, both of you will receive a $100 discount! Have your friend or family member use promo code FOURTH at booking.

We look forward to serving you soon,

The Good News Cruise Team
